We offer FRAGnStein users a free IBM PC software program that allows you to configure your controller. You will first need to install the FRAGnStein driver to use this configuration tool. This PC software allows you to remap buttons, adjust button sensitivity and adjust the rapid fire on your controller. This configuration tool contains both the full set of PC and PS3 features required to get the most out of your FRAGnStein.

Our software upgrades are free. They are specially designed for FRAGnStein and are not for any other product. You may download the software to your computer and you can pass the file around however you may not charge a fee for this file. By downloading and using this file you agree to be bound to the terms and conditions of use. Please read through the entire Terms of Use that is posted on our site for full details.
There are three software programs available to you. The first is the IBM PC driver. The second is the Firmware upgrade. Third is the configuration tool.
Very Important:
This Config software will only work after you have the new Driver installed. It will not work with previous driver or firmware versions.
FRAGnStein Modes:
The FRAGnStein has two PC modes. In one mode it can be used as a gaming mouse by simply plugging the dongle into your USB port. The second mode is set by plugging the dongle into your USB port while holding the dongle button for 2 seconds after it's plugged in. Anytime you are doing Firmware upgrades or using the Configuration tool, the FRAGnStein will need to be in setup mode.
There are actually two drivers for the FRAGnStein. One driver is used when using the FRAGnStein as a gaming mouse. This driver is installed by windows automatically. The second is this driver. It is requred for the setup mode.
When the FRAGnStein is in setup mode the mouse functions are turned off and you may need a second mouse to manouver through the software.
To Download the Config Tool:
Note: On some PC's the FRAGnStein is the mouse. Enter setup mode when using this software. This allows the software and controller to adjust and save your settings.
1) Press here to Download the FRAGnStein Configuration Tool
Note: This software is XP, Vista32, Vista64 and Windows7 compatible.
2) After downloading Select Run from the download box.
3) Allow the software to install.
This sofware installation should be straight forward. Let us know if you see needed improvements.
To use the sofware, simply drag the buttons around the screen to set the button mapping the way you want to play.
If at any time you want to reset the controller, press Default and save.
Never take your dongle out of the USB port when it is being updated as it will brick your controller.
Special Features:
This software has special features to test your mouse pad. A proper mouse pad can make the difference between silky smooth play and choppy play. Test different surfaces, textures, colors and pads to find the best pad suited to your game style.
Trouble:
When you start this software make sure your FRAGnStein is in setup mode. To put your dongle into Setup Mode press and holding the dongle button for 2 seconds after plugging it into the USB port.
