FRAGnStein Driver
This driver can be used for Vista32, Vista64, Windows7, Windows7-64. XP users should follow the directions in the XP section.
If you have the driver installed already on Vista32, Windows7 32 bit or Windows XP then you will not need to upgrade this driver.
This driver now has the signed certificates for the Vista64 and Windows7 64 bit users. They will want to upgrade the driver.
From time to time we post upgrades to the FRAGnStein firmware. You will first need to install this driver on your PC to use the firmware upgrade or the configuration tool. This in turn allows you to customize your controller.
Conditions Of Use
Our software upgrades are free. They are specially designed for FRAGnStein and are not for any other product. You may download the software to your computer and you can pass the file around however you may not charge a fee for this file. By downloading and using this file you agree to be bound to the terms and conditions of use. Please read through the entire Terms of Use that is posted on our site for full details.
There are three software programs available to you. The first is the IBM PC driver. The second is the Firmware upgrade. Third is the configuration tool. This Driver is required for all other software however the Firmware upgrade is optional.
Driver Installation
First uninstall any previous versions of the FRAGnStein driver you may installed. This can be done in the Control Panel: Programs section.
This driver has the required signed certificates for Vista32, Vista64, Windows7 and Windows7 64 bit.
Do not enter set up mode at this time.
Press here to Download the FRAGnStein Driver.
Do not Run the File, instead select Save.
When the file is downloaded - select Open Folder.
The downloaded file will be highlighted.
Right click on the file.
From that menu, select 'Properties'.
Downloaded files can be blocked as part of Windows new security. Notice at the bottom it will have a button to unblock the driver file.
Also select to 'Run as Administrator'.
Next Apply and close that and Install the FRAGnStein Driver.
Your FRAGnStein driver is now installed.

You may have to set the driver.
a) Go to Start: Control Panel: Device Manager. With the Device Manager open - open the Human Interface Devices and then it will show a list of HID devices.
b) Put the FRAGnStein dongle into the USB port while holding the dongle button. Release the dongle button as soon as the dongle is in the port.
c) The list of HID devices will change and may show a HID device with an ansteric.
d) right click on that HID device and select to update driver.
e) Browse for the driver to where the FRAGnStein driver was installed. Default is cprogram files\FRAGnStein\
f) Choose OK and finish to update the driver.
