FRAGnStein Modes:

The FRAGnStein has two PC modes.  In one mode it can be used as a gaming mouse by simply plugging the dongle into your USB port.  The second mode is set by plugging the dongle into your USB port while holding the dongle button for 2 seconds after it's plugged in.  Anytime you are doing Firmware upgrades or using the Configuration tool, the FRAGnStein will need to be in setup mode.

When the FRAGnStein is in setup mode the mouse functions are turned off and you may need a second mouse to maneuver through the software.

Advanced RF Button in Firmware Program:

Radio Frequency interference is a common problem with wireless controllers. There are many sources of RF in households including cordless phones, cell phones, wireless speakers, the PS3, other controllers and routers to mention a few.  Each of these devices can cause interference to any game controller.  Interference can be detected when your controller cuts out and restarts or stutters.

The advanced RF button is used only in high RF environments.  If your controller stutters or looses sync use this feature to select between 6 different RF ranges.

The Default selection is to reset to the default firmware settings. Use the default settings if your controller does not stutter
.

After using the RF feature you will need to rematch your mouse, left grip and dongle. Rematching is done by:

a) Press the dongle button while it's in the PC or PS3 USB port.
b) Then press the mouse button on the underside of the mouse.
c) In less than 8 seconds the mouse and dongle lights should stop blinking.
d) Press the dongle button again.
e) Then press the left grip button that is inside the battery bay.
f) In less than 8 seconds the left grip and dongle lights should stop blinking.

The mouse, left grip and donlge are now matched.
